PINNED / ACCOUNTABILITY RECORD

Keep the receipts.
Ask for answers.

Public statements deserve a public record. Each entry separates what can be established from what still needs evidence. Last reviewed: 8 October 2026.

WIND-DOWN NOTICE

The team has announced a 15 December 2026 shutdown. For asset exits, check Abstract’s official site and official announcement for current instructions. This tool cannot move funds.

Answers we’re asking for

Publish the shutdown decision timeline. Explain XP expectations and record access. Account for fees and who received them. Clarify Quantum and the announced milestones. Identify Luca’s role and the support owed to builders.

THE FINAL 30 DAYS / WHAT FOLLOWED

The dates matter.

6 September → 6 October 2026, followed by the public response. Every item names its source. Gaps are an invitation to document what happened.

  1. 6 Sep – 5 OctEvidence wanted

What were users and builders told in the final 30 days?

Help fill this gap with dated XP updates, builder outreach, roadmap statements, and the exact words used. No pre-announcement commitment is asserted here without its original source.

  2. 6 Oct 2026Official announcement

    The wind-down becomes public.

The public announcement identifies 15 December 2026 as the chain shutdown date. Route deadlines and required steps can differ; check current official instructions.

  3. 6 Oct 2026Team explanation

    Luca gives the funding explanation.

Luca reports an eight-figure loss and says Igloo will stop funding Abstract. That explanation raises a separate question about user costs and the decision timeline.

  4. Version dated 6 OctWritten terms

Wind-down terms need to stay readable.

The current terms include exit arrangements, conditional XP record retention, and separate migration terms. Save the version you review.

  5. 6 Oct 2026Community initiative

    Affected users start organizing.

Bearorca invites users to discuss legal action. This is his stated initiative; a filed case has not been confirmed here.

  6. 7 Oct 2026Reported dispute

The exit window and terms draw criticism.

Protos reports criticism of the exit window and disagreement about the terms. Read the underlying statements alongside the current official wording.

Same-day items do not imply a verified order of decisions. Primary sources for pre-announcement outreach are still requested.

06 OCT 2026Verified announcement

Abstract is being wound down.

The current official terms confirm a wind-down and refer to the 6 October announcements. The team’s public notice sets 15 December 2026 as the chain shutdown date. Check official channels for updated routes and deadlines.

THE QUESTION TO ANSWERWhen was the shutdown first decided, when was it communicated, and what is the dated support plan for users and builders?
06 OCT 2026Reported explanation

Igloo’s losses are not the whole human cost.

Luca reported eight-figure losses and said Igloo would stop funding Abstract at the expense of Pudgy Penguins. He also said the company chose not to launch a token or ICO. These are his reported explanations, not an independently audited loss statement.

THE QUESTION TO ANSWERWhat was Luca’s decision-making role? Publish the funding timeline and a fee breakdown separating chain revenue, app fees, operating costs, and recipients.
09 SEP 2024Published adoption thesis

Phase 2: adoption beyond leisure.

Luca’s consumer-crypto essay describes a move into necessary spending after an initial adoption stage: DeFi, DePIN, software, media, commerce, and payments. The essay presents an industry adoption thesis, not a dated Abstract product-delivery commitment.

THE QUESTION TO ANSWERWhich concrete Abstract milestones were announced for this stage, which shipped, and which were cancelled?
09 SEP 2024Published adoption thesis

Phase 3: essential everyday use.

The same essay imagines banking, credit, real-world asset tokenization, insurance, identity, and other everyday applications. A chain wind-down prevents this chain from continuing that vision, but does not prove breach of a fixed launch deadline.

THE QUESTION TO ANSWERWhat was actually committed to Abstract users, and what survives the wind-down?
EVIDENCE GAPOriginal source needed

Quantum: establish the exact commitment.

Community references to Project Quantum were found, but a complete original statement, timestamped recording, deliverable, and deadline were not verified in this review. It is not listed here as a proven broken promise.

THE QUESTION TO ANSWERProvide the original official post or a recording with a timestamp, then compare the precise commitment with the delivered product.
CURRENT TERMSCurrent written commitment

XP records and exit support need clear answers.

The current terms condition an XP record-retention commitment on valid acceptance and specify a period ending six calendar months after the chain’s discontinuation. They also describe wind-down support. Retaining an XP record is not a promise of a token or payout.

THE QUESTION TO ANSWERWhat was XP intended to provide? Which official statements described rewards, how can users export their history, and what support remains?

The Phase 2/3 entries refer specifically to the 2024 consumer-crypto adoption essay. They do not establish the status of a later product update using the same phase names. The card asks for an explanation of the promises and decisions; no monetary value is assigned to calendar time. Updates require original sources and a dated review.

Community receipts, reviewed for publication.
